I scheduled a service with my HVAC technician before the busy Summer season

I live in a state that has semi-tropical weather most of the year and I love it. I must say that at times, I do wish that it could stay colder a bit longer in the Winter. Our Winters are pretty mild, and the cold weather lasts for maybe a couple of weeks. In January, I noticed that the plants and some trees in my yard were already blossoming, and the bees were busy pollinating. It was at that moment that I realized that Spring would come early, but then it seems like we skipped Spring altogether because the temperature outside has been hovering around 90 degrees. While sitting in my yard with my phone, I noticed that it was overheating from the sun. That happened last year as well, and in addition, my HVAC system malfunctioned on one of the hottest days. I would like to avoid any major issues this year, so I contacted my HVAC technician for him to perform a maintenance service. It is best that I get my HVAC serviced now before the busy Summer season starts because during that time, it’s more difficult to get appointments. My HVAC tech will be here in 2 days, and I will remind him about the unit last year and ask him for any recommendations to prevent malfunctions. I changed my air filter 2 weeks ago because my HVAC technician always asks about how often I change it. He has mentioned that the A/C unit runs more efficiently with a clean air filter, so I make sure that I change it regularly. I hope that when he comes for the service, he finds nothing wrong with my A/C.
