My partner is from a little town in the Southern area of the nation… And when I am saying small, I mean the people in the town definitely know each other. Most have been there for the length of their lives in addition to did not transport out. Fortunately, my partner had the wish to get out in addition to find his own way, in addition to that he did. He hasn’t lived there in around 25 years, in addition to the last time he chose to go back, it was because of his uncle’s funeral! I went with him on that actual trip, in addition to I was amazed at how small that location was. Being from a rather large city, I am not used to locations that are very similar to that. When we were there, we stayed at my partner’s cousin’s residence. I genuinely wanted to stay at a hotel that was a good 20 minutes away, however my partner insisted that we should be around family instead. However, that was a brutal mistake. See, this was in the middle of the boiling season, in addition to his cousin had no air conditioner machine in his home. Most of the residences in the town were built many years ago before central air could be afforded easily. So, they relied on fans to keep them cool. My partner was actually fine without air conditioning, however I was truly miserable. The standing fan that we had, did nothing except to circulate the hot air inside our room. So, after the first evening, I told my partner that I am not staying in that residence for the duration of our visit. That evening, we drove to the hotel that was a solid 20 minutes away, in addition to that evening, I slept sort of like a baby in an air conditioned hotel room.
