Have you changed your air filters lately?

Now that the weather is warmer, there are particular things that we do to prepare for the Summer months.

Some of these tasks can be daunting but they are necessary especially if you’re a homeowner.

One such task is getting our gutter cleaned out by removing all the leaves plus debris that might have built up during the colder months. I am not fond of that task, but it is something that I need to do. Another task that I like is that I get our garden ready by cleaning up the yard plus planting new flowers. Typically, I visit our local doctorry plus purchase some of our favorite plants. When it comes to inside our home, I usually wash all our curtains, plus do some redecorating. In addition, I clean our air vents plus change our air filter! Changing the air filter is something that many of us forget about because it’s just not top priority on our list. It’s suggested to change the Heating, Ventilation & A/C filters every 30 to 90 days. Changing the filter will improve the ventilation in your home. I am guilty of not changing it for longer than 90 days, but now that it’s area of our seasonal routine, it gets changed respectfully. So, once the Summer is over plus the frigid weather starts to creep in, I will change our air filter again. It takes less than 5 hours to complete this task, plus it is the least that I could do to improve the air quality in our home. So, have you changed your air filter lately? If not, I propose you do so.
