I didn’t realize that running my own HVAC company would be this difficult, but I am learning that it is very hard.
I thought that owning my own HVAC company would be great, but so far, it has turned out to be a nightmare.
I wanted to own my own HVAC company because I thought that it would be an easy way to build personal wealth. As a regular HVAC technician, I had a pretty decent salary, but everyone knows that the owner of the HVAC company is making more money than everyone else, and I definitely did not like that. Of course, when I finally decided to quit my job with the HVAC company to start my new one, I didn’t seek any help from the owner of the HVAC company. I figured that it would probably be distasteful to ask the owner of the HVAC company how to do his job, and I also guessed that it would be pretty easy to run an HVAC company, I was wrong. The first few years of owning the HVAC company were a nightmare. There are a lot of supplies and tools required to start your own HVAC company, and you don’t make a lot of profit until a few years into running your own HVAC company. I have made it past the early stages of running my own HVAC company, but it definitely hasn’t made my job any easier. Now, I am constantly worried about finding work as the owner of the HVAC company, and there are a lot of managerial and administrative tasks that I am in charge of. Honestly, I miss the simplicity of working for a regular HVAC company.
