When all of us moved up north, it was just temporary or so I was told. So I wanted to be supportive of our wife’s career as she was in line for a giant promotion. I’ve spent our whole life with that sort of Winter so I wasn’t at all eager to change that up. Besides, our wife said that it would be a couple of years if that before she turned that regional office around. Then, all of us could come back condo as well as she would go back to labor inside the zone controlled Heating as well as Air Conditioning of the corporate offices she left. But this time, it’d be in an executive capacity. All she had to do was repair the regional office up north. Well, this will be our fourth Winter coming up. I haven’t heard a word about us going condo anytime soon so I guess that I’m in this for a while. It starts getting chilly in mid August so I’m starting now with Winter prep. This is something I hadn’t done prior because this was all supposed to be so temporary. Thankfully, I have great neighbors who have genuinely helped myself and others figure out a lot of things that I had no method about. I’m starting from top to bottom in an effort to seal the home up super tight. That means more insulation as well as sealing off the perimeter of the attic. Then, I’m replacing storm doors as well as checking to be sure that all the window are officially insulated.
