I had a legitimately long afternoon at the office, so I went home and decided to take a nap, and I laid down on the couch and instead of the bed.
I was afraid of falling asleep for a long time if I layed down in bed.
I only wanted to nap for an hour or so, so I thought the couch was a much better place! Unluckily, the A/C made me feel so cool as well as comfortable that I slept for 4 hours. I woke up with goosebumps all over my arms and legs, then the A/C was set for 70 degrees and it was honestly cold in the house. I grabbed a blanket from the back of the couch and covered up my legs. Then I got honestly cozy and comfortable on the couch. I heard myself snoring before I actually went back to sleep. I did not wake up until the next afternoon when my alarm was ringing for work. I felt honestly disoriented after waking up on the couch. I almost forgot where I was. I jumped into the shower and the warm water felt great. I realized that I had quite a stiff neck. It was difficult to move my neck after sleeping on the couch for 8 hours. The next time I want to take a nap, I am going to be sure to set an alarm and get up when it goes off. Although the extra sleep was legitimately nice, my neck was sore as well as achy all afternoon long from sleeping on the couch.
