Switching Air Filter Thickness

We’ve recently switched from a 1 inch thick air filter to a more than three inch thick air filter.

The people I was with and I were buying the 1 inch air filters because they were cheaper and it seemed to be stopping the dust and debri. However, the Heating and A/C professional who services our Heating and A/C proposal told us that it wasn’t doing the job well. There was a lot of dust and dirt escaping. He advised switching to at least a 2 inch air filter, but all of us decided to jump to a more than three inch instead. The people I was with and I didn’t trust that a 1 inch difference was going to make a big enough impact, so the more than three inch seemed love a great idea. The more than three inch air filters are extravagant, but they can be bought in packs of 2 or on a subscription proposal for a cheaper rate. The people I was with and I have a lot of dust irritations in our household and someone with dire asthma, so the air quality is worth investing in. The people I was with and I do whatever our Heating and A/C professional suggests because it usually makes us know better. The air quality needs to be perfect and these more than three inch thick air filters felt love the next step for us. The brand all of us bought said that it was known for removing microscopic particles from the air along with bacteria and other airborne illnesses. This was exactly what all of us needed and we’re thrilled with our decision. We’re thankful for the Heating and A/C professional who works on our Heating and A/C proposal because he always has our best interest at heart.
