Trying to Convert the garage into a home office

Having four kids on such a slender budget feels to me like a juggling act and walking a tightrope all at the same time, but so multiple things need to be in balance; Just when I get the hang of it, these little kids started turning into smelly, surly teens, however they were greater, they needed more space, and they needed much more privacy.

There was not a lot I could provide them with space and privacy, because extra home offices don’t grow on trees, but instead I decided to convert our one-car garage into a spare home office for our oldest son. It would need a lot of cosmetic work, but it would also require air conditioner and an updated electrical panel. It would be easy enough to simply set up a new portable heating and air conditioner unit in the garage, but that doesn’t entirely solve the problem of air quality. It is a garage with cement floors and plain walls, mostly used for storage, and the air quality out there is musty, dusty, and damp, then controlling the levels of humidity, and restoring the air quality to something more habitable is the first issue, and after a thorough cleaning and a slight remodel, I hope that a portable Heating and Air Conditioning unit will be enough to sustain the garage going forward. The most modern models of portable Heating and Air Conditioning systems are genuinely bizarre from the ones I remember using as a kid. These aren’t just a heavy box that you mount in a window, modern cooling system units also come with built in dehumidifiers and UV air purifiers; With the right method in site, I suppose the air quality in my garage will be better than ever.
