I had accumulated almost several weeks’ worth of holiday nights because I didn’t assume how not to work; if something is to be done, I will not want to take any holiday nights, but after the pandemic, but, I was forced to clear my holiday nights… My partner proposed I use my skill and financial ability to help the less fortunate in our community! The pandemic had left pretty much everyone disheartened, and to put a smile on their faces, some of the heating and A/C repairmen and I decided to help with the heating and A/C service of their heating and A/C units. The people I was with and I also did not leave out the buyers who needed heating and A/C replacement. The people I was with and I gave the labor for free while the customer left the other expenses. When my bosses at the heating and A/C company got wind of what every one of us were doing, they decided to join in to provide help with indoor comfort. The senior heating and A/C professionals gave us the new heating and A/C equipment at a subsidized price, which meant that the buyers replacing their units didn’t need to pay more for quality heating and A/C systems, including temperature controls. It was exhilarating to put a smile on people’s faces after the devastating pandemic. After assessing their unit, every one of us discarded it and updated it with a plan from a renowned heating and A/C brand that incorporated the new heating and A/C technology. The heating and A/C provider gave us the equipment for free, facilitating the transformation of the children’s home, however by the end of my four-week holiday, my colleagues and I had brought joy to various people, especially with Winter looming in the distance. Believe it or not, I really felt rejuvenated and ready to return to my job even though I had worked through my holiday nights.
