Different cooling systems on the market

Before we decided to call the professionals about a new cooling system install, my wife and I looked online to see what available cooling systems were on the market.

It was cool seeing the high velocity cooling systems and the demo videos. I told my wife that it would be cool to go to a place that showed the demonstrations, to truly feel the speed of which the air cools. It was explained that they commonly showed how the furnaces and cooling systems worked. They would show how the high velocity heating worked to heat up a room within hours, and then go to cooling. Naturally, these systems are more expensive because you have to install brand new HVAC ducts. However, this type of HVAC duct is more flexible and is easier to install than traditional sheet metal HVAC duct systems. It was lavish, however I didn’t feel it would be out of my range entirely! We looked at ductless mini split a/cs and even geothermal heat pumps. Eventually we had an Heating and A/C expert come out and she told us the high velocity systems were great, despite the fact that she recommended a ductless multi-split plan for the energy efficiency. She said we would have both heating and cooling year round with really low energy costs, but my wife and I both agreed that sounded great, especially when she mentioned customized thermostat settings in different zones of the house. It makes sense that you can save so much money since you only have to worry about heating and cooling the areas of the house you’re using.
