We just finished building a house. It was way harder to get everything done than I thought it would be, that’s for sure. We have been working on this project for almost 10 months now and that is a full six months longer than I thought it was going to take us to be completely finished with the entire house. I guess that I just never really understood everything that was going to be involved in building a house from the ground up. I knew that it was going to be time consuming and everything, but I just didn’t think that we were going to have so many troubles with every single part of the building process! Now that we are almost done, I’m finally starting to feel better about it. A few months ago whenever we were working on the heating and cooling system installation, I thought that I was going to lose it! The HVAC contractor ordered the wrong size ductwork, and that set us back a few weeks. Then they also ordered the wrong model of heating system. It was really just one thing after another and it was very frustrating for me and my husband to have to deal with. I am really glad that they finally got all of the HVAC stuff figured out and installed. Now, the last thing that we have to do is choose heating and cooling air register covers and we will be done! I am so excited to be finished so that we can move in! It won’t be a day too soon.
