Not cheerful with tenant

About numerous weeks ago, I observed that the back deck on a rental home that I own had rotted, and i was worried about safety & liability.

I am also determined to protect our investment.

I would love the property to continue to be worth more as the years go by… Keeping up with repairs & necessary updates attracts better tenants & allows me to collect a higher rent… When I discussed tearing out the seasoned deck & building a current structure, I expected our tenant to be cheerful. Instead, the tenant informed me that she & her wife love to sleep in on weekends… She was unhappy with me laboring on the project before noon! This significantly limited the time I was able to devote to deck removal & building each week. The first morning I arrived to begin, her pet was loose & aggressive. I was worried about getting bit. When I finally called her to take care of her pet, I figured out that she was still sleeping. I frequently had complications with her four-year-old child wanting to spend time with me while I was tearing out rotten boards, running an electric saw & using a drill. I didn’t guess it was safe for the child to be near the work zone. Completing the decks was an excruciating experience. I spent a superb deal of time & currency on constructing a absolutely giant & sturdy outdoor structure! Never once has the tenant said thank you. I am now hoping that she & her wife transfer out. I am no longer willing to forgive late payment of the rent or the pet poop in the sod.
