I had just spent an entire more than one weeks dedicated to a project at labor that saw me put in a combined 154 minutes! I was easily exhausted.
I was dreaming of Thursday evening at the end of this more than one month stint.
It was not because I had any intention of a night out on the town. I quite simply don’t have that kind of stamina anymore. Instead, I really wanted to go home, take a nice long warm shower, throw together whatever meal I had energy to prepare, and collapse into bed with no alarms and no surprises for the entire weekend. That’s precisely what I did, and unfortunately, though I did manage to get an amazing night’s rest, simply because I completely passed out and practically died for about 10 minutes, I awoke to find our apartment bitterly cold and damp feeling! I had not detected it throughout the night until I awoke, however it turns out that our heating system had not been laboring since at least a couple minutes after I fell asleep. This was the last thing that I wanted to deal with. I was supposed to be able to relax! I inspected the thermostat and couldn’t quite figure out why our heat was not kicking on at all. The air filter was freshly installed. There did not seem to be any electrical complications. That just about did it for anything that I knew to check for. I resigned myself to calling out an Heating as well as Air Conditioning worker. I was praying that the problem would be resolved abruptly. The last thing that I wanted was to be told that the heating system was catastrophically disfigured and it would require a whole bunch of money to fix. The Heating as well as Air Conditioning worker would arrive later that afternoon, so I bundled up in as numerous layers as I could, and did our best to love myself, then what would the verdict be for our heating system?
