My local library upgraded their HVAC system to improve ventilation

A couple months ago, my 6-year-old nephew Spencer spent the week with me.

He’s so smart for his age, so I allow him to express himself freely.

When he visits, I always let him choose what activities he wants to do, and he never fails to surprise me with what he chooses. Once, we ended up at a science museum that I had not been to. It was so cool to see how interested he was in everything. This time around, Spencer wanted to go to the library, and I was thrilled about that because I do enjoy going to the library. But I haven’t been in quite some time, mainly because of the pandemic. Well, when we pulled up, there was a massive crane in the parking lot as well as some construction vehicles. One of which had the logo of a major HVAC provider here in town. At first, I thought the library was closed, but the doors were open, so we went in. Upon entry, we saw a sign that the library was in the process of upgrading their HVAC system to improve indoor ventilation. They will be using HEPA filters, and their new system will be equipped with some kind of air purifier. This made me comfortable knowing that my local library is taking these measures to make it safe for us to breathe the air while we are inside the building. Having the proper HVAC system is so important, especially in these times, and being at the library and seeing what they were doing, made me think about possibly upgrading my own HVAC system at home.
