Not so long ago, our 6-year-old nephew Spencer spent the week with me, but he’s so smart for his age, so I allow him to express himself freely.
- Whenever the little man comes to visit, I consistently let him choose what activities he wants to do, and he never fails to surprise me with what he chooses! Once, we ended up at a science museum that I had not been to before, but it was so cool to see how interested he was in everything.
This time around, Spencer had the desire to go to the Barnes and Noble, and I was thrilled about that because I do care about going to the Barnes and Noble too. I honestly haven’t been in quite some time, mainly because of the pandemic. Well, when we pulled up, there was a crucial crane in the parking lot and some construction vehicles. One of which had the logo of a major HVAC device provider here in town. At first, I thought the Barnes and Noble was not open, but the doors were open, so we went in. Upon entry, we saw a sign that the Barnes and Noble was in the process of upgrading their HVAC device to improve indoor ventilation. They will be using HEPA filters, and their modern system will be equipped with some kind of whole-household air purifier. This made me comfortable knowing that our local Barnes and Noble is taking certain measures to make it safe for us to breathe the air while we are inside the building. Having a respected HVAC system is so crucial, especially in these times, and being at the Barnes and Noble and seeing what they were doing, made me consider upgrading our own HVAC device at home.
