My buddy was always goofy over the years, but very bright

Eventually, he got around to telling me he wanted to be an HVAC professional after graduating from high school.

My best buddy has always been a goofy kid. He would always be telling jokes in the classroom and have everybody laughing. He mostly hung out with me though because he said I was the truest friend he ever had and not fake like many of those other posers. I knew the type he was referring too, I couldn’t stand people like that either. I remember when he got a cell phone finally after so long, he left this ridiculous voice mail message. He would say, “Hello” with a long pause. Naturally you would start talking to him thinking he answered the phone and then suddenly he would say, “Sorry I’m away at None.” You would be wondering what he was talking about and then he said after another long pause, “None ya business!” I told him he was so stupid for that but he got me when he said he bet I laughed when it happened to me the first time. Eventually, he got around to telling me he wanted to be an HVAC professional after graduating from high school. He asked me what I wanted to do and I wasn’t sure, but I said being an HVAC expert might be kind of cool. We both ended up going to HVAC classes to get certified for the HVAC industry. It was just like our old days back in school, he had everybody laughing including the HVAC professor who said he saw us doing big things in the future. My buddy was encouraged to become an HVAC engineer since he was so bright and had many great ideas.
