We made a business at home in our garage

We started an HVAC business in our garage! It all started one day after visiting our local cooling and heating business.

I was amazed by all the options of air conditioners and furnaces we had to choose from and I loved looking at all the different kinds of air purification systems.

On my way home from the cooling and heating business, I saw a garage sale that my neighbor was having. I went over to the garage sale and discovered that my neighbor had two wonderful window air conditioners for sale as well as a few portable space heaters. It was then but I got the idea that I could start my own HVAC business right out of my garage. I built onto my garage so that it was big enough, and then started looking for different HVAC units to fill up my garage with. I found several window air conditioners at a local thrift shop, and several other HVAC units at garage sales. I was constantly looking for used central air conditioners and gas furnaces or oil furnaces that I could purchase for really cheap and refurbished. I was a very experienced HVAC technician so I knew how to refurbish air conditioners, air purifiers, and furnaces really well. After collecting hundreds and hundreds of heating and cooling equipment, I started fixing and rebuilding them. After about a year I had a huge stock of air conditioners, furnaces, air purification systems, and ductless heat pumps. After setting up my garage I was ready to start my very own HVAC business. On opening day I sold several window air conditioners and geothermal heat pumps along with a few small air purifiers. It felt great to finally have my very own cooling and heating company.
