Turning the thermostat way down was costing us currency

My partner and I have been together for 5 years.

For 4 of those years, all of us lived in a 2 family room home in the city.

The people I was with and I are town folk and loved living in an part near our preferred hangout spots. The tea shop was only a block away and so were the bars and fitness center. But, eventually all of us had to find a beach house since all of us wanted to beginning a family. Our realtor found us a gem outside of city and the part has really grown on us in the last year. The beach house was a new build and had a brand new Heating and A/C proposal so all of us didn’t have to spend any currency on Heating and A/C replacement. All all of us needed to do was hire the Heating and A/C supplier for maintenance in Spring and fall. During our first summer time in our new home, all of us noticed all of us were paying too much currency to keep the beach house cool. At first, all of us weren’t sure why this was happening. The people I was with and I thought perhaps the Heating and A/C proposal had an issue so all of us hired an Heating and A/C expert to take a look. Her supplier does same-day response so a few hours later she passed by the house. There was no issue with the Heating and A/C system. But, upon further investigation, the Heating and A/C expert said by turning down the thermostat each time all of us felt hot, all of us were using more energy. The machine had to labor harder to keep up with the change in temperature hence the high energy bill. It’s better and cheaper to set the thermostat at a constant temperature and leave it at that.
