Somebody made a huge mess in the portable bathroom

She’s on a crew over to the parking lot to clean up the mess and fix the building and I got charged a hefty service fee.

There are two portable bathrooms on the job site at work. After 5:00 p.m, the bathrooms are locked up. No one can access the bathrooms unless they physically break the door off of the hinges. I’ve been working in the city for 6 months on various housing projects and I’ve never had anyone break into a portable toilet until last week. My early morning guy arrived before me and he called me on the phone to tell me about the huge mess. There was urine, feces, brown water and toilet paper all over the parking lot. The bathroom door had been ripped off the hinges and the toilet was turned over on its side. The contents of the portable bathroom were everywhere. I immediately contacted the company that set up the mobile restroom. The woman on the phone seemed very shocked and surprised that we had an issue with vandalism. I told her that I was just as surprised as she sounded. She’s on a crew over to the parking lot to clean up the mess and fix the building and I got charged a hefty service fee. Emergency cleanup services are not included in our contract with the portable bathroom company. After shipping $3,000 to the portable bathroom company, I installed cameras on the job site. There is one by my office, one by the bathrooms, and one up high on the scaffolding where no one will be able to see it. If anything odd happens in the middle of the night, I will be able to catch it on camera
