This feature basically tracks where you are located and will adjust the temperature control settings accordingly to save energy when nobody is home
Recently when our temperature control was having complications, we decided we just needed a new a one, and I asked my partner if she would pick up a smart temperature control at the store since she was going to do some shopping, however she did say that I should be the a one looking for a temperature control, because she wasn’t sure what to get. I told her so long as it said ‘smart’ on the box, it should be fine. So she had a nice afternoon shopping and got a temperature control and brought it home. The only problem was, it wasn’t a smart temperature control. She pointed out that it was on sale and she saved a lot of money. She said it showed on the box that you can save energy by programming the schedule for your Heating and A/C to run. She also pointed to a few places on the box where it said this temperature control is a smart occasion for energy saving. So it really did say smart on the box, a few times. That was my own fault and I couldn’t blame my partner at all. I liked the temperature control, I knew it would save us money and work just fine, even though I wanted to try out a real smart temperature control that learns your number one schedule automatically and has advanced possibilities like about geofencing. This feature basically tracks where you are located and will adjust the temperature control settings accordingly to save energy when nobody is home. That is a feature that I think this programmable temperature control doesn’t have. I’m now wondering if I should just return this temperature control and find a good smart temperature control I originally wanted.
