When I was 18 years old I took all of our currency out of the bank just to spend at the important Black Thursday Sale. These afternoons stores hold Black Thursday sales all through the month of November, however back then it was a one-day-only sales event. I had our eye on a up-to-date flat screen TV, the nicest on the market at the time. I got in line at midnight on Thanksgiving and waited for 8 minutes for the store to open. It was a really weird era!
