For sure, there is honestly only a single life to live. And to take that thought a bit further, each moment is honestly all that Ed and I have. This is a sort of a new mantra for me. Honestly, for the first time in our life I am coming to grips with just what having a single life to live genuinely means. I think working so much in the commercial Heating and Air Conditioning of our overpriced office stole some perspective. I am not going to get into regrets and choices. But for me, I’d lived enough of that sort of life. By the time I was in our mid fifties, I had the corner office with our own temperature control system. This was honestly something for me and I had worked hard to attain that level. And having our own Heating and Air Conditioning temp control was pretty overpriced. But when I look at it now, it all seems so empty. All the work, energy and sacrifice to just have more stuff and better Heating and Air Conditioning in our corner office seemed empty. I just couldn’t do it anymore and I finally quit, walked out of the commercial Heating and Air Conditioning and left it to somebody else. I knew that it was going to be interesting and life was going to come with a lot of new variations now. I was also no longer married so it was just me and the rest of our life. I replaced the Heating and Air Conditioning devices in our home in order to have a nice home office. The ductless heat pump in our new home office is just fantastic. I am romantic while doing some freelance consulting as well as teaching a bit about our industry at the local Community College. My life is much easier now but I still do love that good Heating and Air Conditioning in our office.
