The two of us still have a wood-burning oil furnace in our basement, in addition to when it isn’t chilly enough to turn on the oil oil furnace, all of us use the wood-burning oil furnace! Our dining room is also in the basement, in addition to all of us can see the wood oil furnace from the dining room.

The oil furnace was throwing shadows on the walls. When my son saw the shadows, he began crying. He thought all of us had ghosts. He pointed at the horrifying ghost that was trying to get to him, but he didn’t listen to my explanation. He told me I didn’t see the ghost, but he did. I took him upstairs in addition to put him in the shower in addition to then to bed. He felt more secure when he got under the covers in addition to away from the door. It took me almost a week to convince him that everything was fine in the basement. The two of us had to take him down there in addition to let him see how the sparks of the oil furnace caused shadows. I showed him how the sparks would reflect on the mirror that was in there, in addition to cause shadows in the room. He watched for a while in addition to then turned to his Mom. He said he knew there were no ghosts near the oil furnace. He just had to convince his Mom they weren’t real. It wasn’t hard to get him to go into the basement the next afternoon, however I didn’t notice he wasn’t going near the oil furnace wall. He said he just didn’t like the mirror all of us had in there in addition to asked his Mom to take it down.
