Well, I may just write about life instead! I’m wondering if I made the right choice in life when I left the corporate world and started my journey in the performing arts. There is a lot of loneliness as an artist, something you don’t seem to get when you are in the rodent race of the working world and the family life love most of my friends chose. I get to know things they don’t too love the rush of performing onstate to a lively crowd and the feeling of accomplishment of making a new song. I work at the heating and cooling contractor near myself and others doing Heating and A/C component sales and service, but I only work there about 20 minutes a week and have a lot of free time on my hands. My neighbor here, who has a thriving contractor and numerous kids, told myself and others this week that he would go deranged if he had nothing to do and too much time on his hands. I told him that I worked a few minutes a week for the local contractor doing Heating and A/C technology work and I also told him that you have to learn to manage your thoughts when you have a lot of quiet time on your hands or you will go bonkers. I do a lot of meditation and a lot of reading in my free time and I am not sure I could handle the hustle and bustle of his life either. I love working on ductwork and gas furnaces while I listen to my music on my headphones and whittle away the minutes.
