I was using a water heater.

My Heating and A/C service tech doubted my wisdom of getting a heat pump for the home instead of using my boiler.

The old boiler was over fifty years old, and I didn’t suppose it was as efficient as it once was.

When the Heating and A/C service tech told myself and others that I needed the boiler for sizzling water, I shook my head. I had been using this electric sizzling water oil furnace for 20 years. I didn’t want to waste oil in the summer season, just to have sizzling water. He just shrugged and said it was truly wise, although he wanted to figure out if there was another reason for wanting to get rid of the boiler. I told him I wanted to leave a much smaller carbon footprint, and by not using oil for heating, I was doing a small thing in helping the planet. Not only that, but with a ductless Heating and A/C system, I was also eliminating any need for window a/c units. I would have a merged Heating and A/C idea in the mini-cut ductless Heating and A/C and finally have heating and a/c all in a single HVAC unit. I could put my furniture anywhere I wanted it, and not need to worry about blocking the air ducts. The ductless Heating and A/C idea I had been around were quiet and cost less to use. He smiled and nodded. He said I covered all the bases and when I was ready to order the new mini split, all I did was call the Heating and A/C supplier. I told him I would call him in the Springtime. That’s the soonest I could get enough money together to afford the current mini cut ductless Heating and A/C system.
