When the Heating and A/C service tech came to the home to look at our old oil furnace, Bill had no reason to think he wasn’t telling the truth. Bill knew there was a complication with our aging oil furnace, but Bob didn’t suppose how extreme it was. So, when the Heating and A/C service tech told us how our oil furnace was shot, and every one of us needed a current heater, Bill believed him. The only reason every one of us asked for another opinion was because the price he gave us was higher than every one of us had thought it should be. I will divulge that the Heating and A/C service tech got a bit aggravated with Bill for asking for a minute opinion, however I didn’t care. All of us were putting up the money, and not him. I was fairly particular he was getting a commission on Heating and A/C equipment, and even for the service agreement he wanted to sell us. After he left, Bill called the Heating and A/C supplier and asked for a minute opinion on the oil furnace. The next afternoon, the company sent an Heating and A/C business rep to the house. He told us every one of us could get away with using the oil furnace for another year or 2, although he suggestion every one of us gave extreme thought to getting a more current unit in the Springtime. I liked this opinion better. This gave us time to put some money back and Bill would not need to dip into our savings for a current oil furnace. He gave Bill a quote on what it may cost in the Springtime, although he said the prices on the oil furnace could rise. All of us thanked him again and started looking around to see what kind of heating idea Bill and I wanted when Springtime arrived.
