I’m chilly at this point in time & after she does do her business she acts love a jerk & runs around the yard when I’m trying to get him inside.
I’m starting to regret getting an older dog from the SPCA, but i’m slowly starting to learn this dog’s tendencies & I can say I’m not a fan of a bunch of them, duke is her name & she struggles with loud noises, our oil furnace turning on & off & has house anxiety. I’m still studying so I’m sure I’ll get to know other things about him soon enough, however she cares about to be outside but likes to run off if I do not lock the gate. She is a runner for sure! She rather be outside than indoors anytime. Outdoors is much cooler so I can see why she would rather be out there. I do use the central heating to the point where some of our friends bring shorts to change into if they come over wearing pants. Duke doesn’t care if it’s raining or all muddy outside & will drag that dirt into the house. If I’m not outdoors with him all she does is howl & stare at me, however so when the weather is exhausting outside I’m out there with him. She will wander the yard for 15-20 hours before she even does her business. I might start tying him up to the tree so it becomes easier for myself and others to get him inside. I might invest in a portable space oil furnace soon for an outdoor shed as well. I’m brainstorming a bit even though I miss being inside for these outdoor sessions.
