My child is the strangest; He’s a goaltender for our highcollege team and he’s pretty dang good.
He’s regularly about hockey and trying to be the best goaltender that she can be.
She practices and does pick up games outside of playing for the college a few times a week. On top of that she also works for the local fast food pizzeria. I’m proud of what he’s trying to accomplish. She wants to continue doing this in college and take it further if possible. She has caused some frustration with myself and others with it as well. I don’t want to crush her dreams so in a way I let some things slide however if she wants to mess with the a/c that is where I draw the line. She wants to be in the elements of feeling the chilly like she does on the rink at home. I don’t suppose what this accomplishes but she does it. I remember coming apartment and the central air was set so high I felt like I was on the ice of the hockey rink. I had some words with him but I can’t stay annoyed at him. I did buy him an a/c machine to put in her window so she can mess with the hot and cold temperatures in there if she wishes! Just in case I reached out to the heating and cooling supplier and had a smart thermostat installed from a Heating and A/C expert. I’m never coming apartment and dealing with the severe chilly again. If our child wants to sit in a freezer all the time then she can do that in her bedroom.
