The two of us use the backroom as a spare study room and my office… There is really little heat that gets to that section of the house, so every one of us use a space furnace while I was in the winter.

I turned the space furnace off after working, and the next afternoon I had to reset the temperature control… My spouse told myself and others I had to check the temperature control before leaving the space furnace on when I left the room. It was zero the other afternoon, and I thought the space furnace was working overtime. I knew it would be hard for it to keep it hot that afternoon, however it was hot. I opened the door to go to the bathroom, and I almost dropped when I came back into the room. It was so hot that I could not breathe. The space furnace had reset and within twenty minutes I was out of the room, it had reached ninety degrees in the room. I turned the space furnace off, however it was still running. I had to unplug the space furnace to stop it from running, but when I clogged it back in, it went right back to ninety-numerous on the temperature control. I was weary of playing with it and told my spouse I wanted to go into city and purchase a modern space heater. This one was going to roast myself and others out of the room.
