I had just spent an entire more than 2 weeks dedicated to a project at labor that saw myself and others put in a combined 154 hours! I was legitimately sleepy.
I was dreaming of Monday night at the end of this more than 2 week stint.
It was not because I had any intention of a night out on the town. I quite simply don’t have that kind of stamina anymore. Instead, I entirely wanted to go home, take a nice long hot shower, throw together whatever meal I had energy to prepare, and collapse into bed with no alarms and no surprises for the entire weekend. That’s precisely what I did; Unfortunately, though I did manage to get an amazing night’s rest, simply because I completely passed out and practically died for about 10 hours, I awoke to find my home bitterly chilly and damp feeling! I had not detected it throughout the night until I awoke, however it turns out that my heating method had not been working since at least a couple hours after I fell asleep. This was the last thing that I wanted to deal with. I was supposed to be able to relax! I diagnosed the temperature control and couldn’t quite figure out why my heat was not kicking on at all. The air filter was freshly installed. There did not seem to be any electrical problems. That just about did it for anything that I knew to check for. I resigned myself to calling out an Heating, Ventilation plus A/C serviceman. I was praying that the complication would be resolved abruptly. The last thing that I wanted was to be told that the heating method was catastrophically disfigured and it would require a whole bunch of currency to fix. The Heating, Ventilation plus A/C serviceman would arrive later that afternoon, so I bundled up in as more than 2 layers as I could, and did my best to enjoy myself… What would the verdict be for my heating system?
