I was attending a special repair at our local church last week, then they were honoring all the fallen soldiers of the past wars plus present. My father had been killed in the Gulf War, plus my sibling recently died in a training accident, but after the the service, he was talking to everyone when I saw him walk up to the dais, but he asked if there was an Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C corporation in the house? This was quite a change from the subject we were discussing, but it must have been crucial. The minister said they were having a concern with the heating in the prayer chapel, then if anyone could help with the problem, he would be quite grateful. I wasn’t an Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C dealer, but I knew several boys who were. I was about to offer their help when a single of the newer parishioners stepped forward. He said he was a Navy vet, plus he was an Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C dealer. He would be proud to do the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C task in the prayer chapel. I could not think the generosity of the multiple gentlemen who were donating their time to help the church, however when they came out of the area, I heard them tell the minister that there was no fixing to be done. They needed a modern gas furnace for that area of the church. The first person to offer his help told the minister that if he would pay for the equipment, he would make sure all of the labor was done for free, plus he would lead the team. I hope that a single day I can be as gracious as these men.
