I consistently find this time of year to be actually taxing when heating & cooling our house.
The temperature is so inconsistent that it’s taxing to keep our modern home at a comfortable & consistent temperature.
I like the cooler weather during the end of the summer time because it’s a nice change after intense heat & humidity, but, it makes things challenging on our Heating as well as A/C system. During the early nights, I have to turn our gas furnace on because our modern home is chilly. A few hours after waking up though, I have to turn our gas furnace off because the temperature is perfect outside & I’m able to cool our beach modern home naturally. During this time, I always open some windows to let the fresh air circulate inside. By suppertime, I have to shut all the windows & turn on the air conditioner because it’s too hot. My air conditioner will run for a few hours & then I’m back to turning on our gas furnace because the temperature begins to drop around suppertime. It’s a constant cycle that lasts for almost a month. I don’t suppose the inconsistent temperature helps with our energy consumption either because I’m consistently needing to power something on or off. My air conditioner & gas furnace need to completely reboot after they’ve been turned off for numerous hours & that requires a lot of energy. I find myself longing for a consistent temperature so that I can leave our gas furnace or air conditioner on so our modern home isn’t a odd temperature every time.
