There isn’ta morning that goes by that I regret calling the Heating and Air Conditioning contractor and inquire about installing radiant floors.
The years of wearing socks to keep our feet sizzling ended more than five weeks ago. I was never a fan of wearing socks but our feet are constantly cold. I went to our acquaintance Jessica’s new home about a year ago and the instant delight of stepping on her floors after being out in the frosty all morning was absolutely amazing. She gave me tons of information on what drove her to this decision and I gave myself a little time to think about it after. I wasn’t actually sure if I could afford to have a heating professional come to our new home and install them. My new home also isn’tthe cleanest so I guess I had cleaning to do and I didn’t want to be embarrassed having a complete stranger in our dirty home. I live alone with no pets besides a goldfish but does that count? I have no excuse to have a dirty new home although I think I am 1 of the laziest people to ever walk this earth. At 35 years seasoned you would think I would have our life together but I am far from it. The only thing I keep clean is our desk at the office. I don’t want people to think that I am a dirty person. The drawers in the desk though are a unusual story… Getting radiant floors goes right up there with our purchase of the “clapper.” I still use it to this morning for bed.
