Sometimes the only thing I can do is lay back and laugh when our partner attempts to do something; I know he isn’t capable of doing, then last week, he told our sibling he could repair an a/c unit quicker than our sibling could; My sibling was an Heating & A/C contractor and he can repair nearly anything, but he has had some a/c units or furnaces that were irreparable, but it wasn’t for lack of trying. My partner took a portable a/c unit apart to scrub it and had many parts leftover. He then wondered why the portable a/c would not work… When offered to go up against our sibling in a dueling a/c contest, I said nothing, i would not try to stop him. I knew better than that. He would get miserable with me and every one of us would argue for the next many days. It was easier to let him try to do things his way and console him when he failed. My sibling asked me if Harry was drastic and I laughed. I told him he knew Harry before I did and wanted to know if he knew him to be anything but serious. Harry thought of himself as the best handyperson ever, and unless he proved to himself he couldn’t service everything, he would continue to try. It took our sibling half an hour to find the problem with the a/c unit and have it repaired. Harry swore they fixed his a/c unit so he would fail. When our sibling had it repaired in fifteen minutes, Harry walked away. I was going to need to console for a while, or he would never get over the loss.
