I think I have to make it through a few more cold showers before I get to feel a warm shower again.
I don’t mind taking cold showers earlier in the day, but late at night when I am going to be sleeping soon, the cold water tends to wake me up a lot and makes it tough to fall asleep.
I have been skipping one day with the showers, which is probably fine, seeing that I go for a swim in the clean salt water each morning. I’m sure my skin is fine after missing one day of showering. Hot water heater replacement is holding us back from having warm showers, but the HVAC company said it should be here this weekend. I will replace the unit the day it arrives and we will have hot water once again. I have my HVAC specialist friend coming over to help me replace the electric heating device and I think we can have it done within an hour or so, which means I will have hot water again in two or three days. I just need to figure out where to put the old one when we remove it because there is no dump nearby, and besides I don’t have a car to haul it in anyway. The heating dealership which sells the heating units may know where I can drop the old one off, but that is not a big problem at the moment seeing that I still haven’t got the new one. I bet the heater comes today in the mail.
