I really appreciate it whenever my cousin offers to give me something from his house.
The last time it was a perfectly working LED screen TV that he no longer needed because he had upgraded to a bigger model. That was an exciting weekend because it meant I could finally have a bigger television myself. I even invited some friends over that weekend to watch a football game because of the new TV in my living room. Then I took the old TV for my living room and put it in my bedroom. I was really happy and fortunate for my cousin’s help. The other day he told me to come over to his house because he had a bunch of junk in his basement he didn’t need any more. Get a box of old comic books that was actually worth some money, but he didn’t have the time or the patience to try to sell them. He basically told me to grab whatever I wanted. But the other thing he had was an old window air conditioner. He had only used it three times before taking it out of the window it was in and storing it. It was almost brand new in terms of its condition. I was happy to take the window air conditioner off his hands. However when I got it to my house, it didn’t fit in the window I wanted to put it in. Obviously I didn’t size the window air conditioner ahead of time, I just hoped it would fit when I saw it at my cousin’s house. I’m going to save it and use it for a different window eventually, because it’s a really good quality machine even if it doesn’t fit.
