I am not doing the greatest but I am surviving.
- Because my energy is starting to wane and I want to rest and regain some of it, I will take a short nap after finishing this article at 2 o’clock.
I like to nap in my study room because it is at the back of the building and because it is cooler there because there isn’t any sunlight there. Since our apartment is on the middle floor of the building, it doesn’t get as hot here in the summer, so air conditioning isn’t really needed until the truly hot months of the summer season. I’ll take a short nap—maybe an hour—and give my body a chance to recover so it can fight off whatever it is that’s making me feel less than stellar. She will be here in three more days, and I’m hoping I’ll be 100% by then so my friend and I can have a nice time for the three days she will be staying with us. I also need to clean my fireplace at some point so my friend and I can have a nice fire without any smoke billowing out from it when my guest comes to visit in a few days. She fixes boilers and heating systems for a living, so I’m considering asking her to help me with mine since it needs to be fixed and isn’t currently working properly. I also want to do it before winter arrives. Now that it’s May, I still have a long way to go before the frosty season arrives.
