I knew there was nothing wrong with our Heating and A/C system, but I were considering what would happen if the furnace or air conditioning component were to break.
My buddy Zed and I knew they were machines, plus although theoretically they should last fifteen years or longer, we didn’t want to wait for the fifteen year time frame to occur.
Zed and I were already checking the price of new Heating and A/C systems for the house, hoping to have most of the money in the savings account before that time arrived. Zed and I wrote down the model of A/C component plus furnace we had, plus started looking them up. They no longer carried that make or model, but there were similar Heating and A/C systems. They were more costly than Zed and I had paid for ours, plus that was to be expected, and prices had risen severely in the last decade. I did the figures plus found an annual price hike percentage per year. Over five years, the Heating and A/C system would be so costly we couldn’t possibly afford a new one. Zed and I knew how much we had to put in the bank every year, but we also knew that it wasn’t ever going to happen. It was more money than we put back for taxes, trip, plus emergencies. Zed looked at me plus told me we would need to take out a HELOC if we had to buy a new Heating and A/C system. I shrugged plus told Zed we would do what we had to do. I could regularly work a little more overtime, which could supply us another $1000 a month. Zed smiled plus told me he was ecstatic the new Heating and A/C system was hopefully another five or 6 years away.
