In the summertime where I live there is so much going on, when I have friends who want to gathering plus plan ahead of time I regularly tell them that if I have to cancel last minute due to labor please don’t get mad at me.
Where I labor I am regularly on call… It doesn’t matter where I am, I am required to drop everything that I’m doing plus go to where my labor needs me! For example there was this one time where I was helping my husbandy install his window air conditioner into his family room, then he does not have central cooling or heat in his home.
His dwelling is absolutely small plus he relies on his ceiling fan plus window air conditioner in the summertime plus his portable electric furnace in the winter time time. When installing his window air conditioner you need two people to lift it up because it is absolutely heavy. So when I was helping him install his air conditioner I got a call from work, plus I knew that I had to go somewhere instantly, as I answered my PC I thought that I could hold the air conditioner with one hand plus answer my PC with my other hand; Turns out that I was wrong. The window air conditioner fell straight on the floor, cracking the bottom of the air conditioner’s plastic, but my husbandy was a little sad but he realized that it would not affect the functionality of the air conditioner. I literally did “drop everything” to answer my PC plus to go for where labor needed me. Whoops!
