The Heating and A/C Company Wasn’t Ethical

I was having some concerns with my air conditioner unit a few weeks ago! It wasn’t cooling my household regularly, as well as it sounded horrible every time it started running.

I contacted the Heating and A/C business I normally toil with, as well as they sent someone over to service the AC unit that afternoon, but the Heating and A/C professional was great as well as had everything fixed within an hour! A few afternoons later, I acquired my bill in the mail.

It was $200 for the service fee as well as whatever equipment she needed to particularly fix my broken AC unit. I paid the bill as well as went about my week. A few afternoons later though, I got a call from the Heating and A/C business about my annual service appointment. It had been exactly 6 months since my last “service appointment,” as well as they were trying to get me to schedule another one before the Fall. I told them that someone had just come to my household a week ago to fix my AC unit, so I shouldn’t need a service appointment, however, the receptionist told me that my Heating and A/C equipment still needed servicing for the upcoming season. I was furious that they were trying to swindle more cash out of me! The Heating and A/C professional who showed up at my household the week before should have already looked over my entire AC unit since it was broken anyway. I can’t toil with a business who is either cash hungry, or sends Heating and A/C professionals who don’t particularly do the job they’ve been paid to do. I told them that I’ll be finding an ethical Heating and A/C business to toil with from here on out.
