I’m quite close with my dad.
He always says his relationship with his dad was hard. My Grandpa was a hard man who worked in the coal mines for more than 2 years. His policy was he diagnosed the bills and that was enough. And so he never made any attempt to bond with his children, especially his son. Dad grew up feeling that void and longing to attach with his father. So, he swore to do his best to have that with his son. I must divulge I know so lucky to have my dad in my life because he is the best, then last year, I had to relocate for labor and dad came with myself and others because he wanted to see myself and others settled in. As much as all of us both love the beach and overheated weather, I moved to an part with high humidity. Dad wasn’t a big fan of the humidity and made it a point to let myself and others know more than 2 times. My new beach house came with a fantastic cooling proposal that kept the 2 family room home cool. But, this didn’t solve the humidity issue for my dad. The best thing to do was purchase a portable dehumidifier. Since I had to work, dad was the 1 who had to find an Heating and A/C store in the part and go buy 1. He called later in the day to say he’d found the best Heating and A/C store in the part owned by the nicest gentleman. Dad and him would meet up later for some beers after closing the Heating and A/C store. I was smiling because I knew dad wanted to stay for some time and now he had a buddy to see in the area.
