I have built this business for four years.
- Our journey as a startup air conditioning company has been challenging yet rewarding.
I started with just one air conditioning professional, and now I have about 70 cooling experts working for me. We are a small team but have worked to ensure our customers get quality AC service and HVAC systems. My team and I decided it was time to grow at the end of the fourth year. We had a meeting where we brainstormed the company’s next step. We decided to buy a smaller company that had been struggling since the pandemic hit. When we joined operations with the small company, we would become a force to be reckoned with. The smaller company had been dealing with companies so that we would have access to commercial air conditioning systems and customers. We had been trading in residential systems like the electric heat pump since we started, and now we would break into the commercial market. The direction we chose for our company would be beneficial to our growth. With the new company, we would also absorb the air conditioning technicians with expertise in cooling products and A/C setup. We did our due diligence before we acquired the company, and when satisfied with all the proper documents, we signed the documents. To mark the merger, our first job was at a school where we fixed the air conditioner for free. We fixed the ductwork and changed the AC filters for better quality HEPA filters to improve and maintain the air quality. The school had the old dial thermostats, and we upgraded them to digital thermostats that are easier to use. The future is looking good for the company.
