We knew it was going to be a stressful afternoon, and my buddy and I made sure to get lots of alcohol, and dad and I were in charge of the drinks while my mom and aunt worked on the food… It’s not a gender thing! They are both chefs, and I can’t cook anything to save my life, then so, dad and I had the idea to make a cocktail bar in the dwelling for the celebration, but mom was expecting her mom and dad, and she was so happy to host them.
It had been some time since they were at the house, and she wanted to make an impression. Their mom is also a former chef, and excellent hostess, so you can see where mom and aunty got it from, however unluckyly, it seems the love for cooking will skip a generation with me, haha! Anyway, mom wanted to make sure everything was good, and the failing cooling system was driving her up the wall. My pal and I noticed the previous afternoon that the cooling unit isn’tblowing adequate cool air into our home. It felt warmer and a bit humid which was odd. Mom was busy since she didn’t want the cooling system to stop laboring in the middle of her event. So, dad called the local Heating, Ventilation plus A/C supplier for assistance. They promised to send over an Heating, Ventilation plus A/C tech the afternoon of the event at 9 am. Mom was at the door waiting for the Heating, Ventilation plus A/C tech when the clock was at 9, and saw him pull up in his Heating, Ventilation plus A/C van, her hope was this was an simple fix and she’d have a comfortable home in no time.
