I have had a mix of weird living situations since I was a kid.
I didn’t consistently live with my parents for instance.
There was at least a 5-year period between my early teen years plus the end of high university where I was living with my aunt plus aunt. It truthfully was a nice experience for me with everything considered… My own aunt provided me a lot more structure plus stability in my life than my parents were able to prior. It also provided me an experience of living out west which I haven’t been able to replicate the year since. I started living alone when I was in university, however during my junior year I had a dorm room on campus that was a private apartment essentially. I had a little miniature kitchen area including a lavatory all to myself. They were basically studio apartments plus university. I’ve gotten used to living alone because I like the flexibility plus freedom it gives me. I can set the temperature to whatever I want it to be indoors. I can control what air conditioner plus heating systems to my discretion. This is crucial for me because I have absolutely particular preferences when it comes to how I sleep at night plus what temperature I want the air to be at, but usually I like it as low as 68 degrees or even 72 degrees with a moderate blanket. It’s nice having a smart thermostat that allows me to control my air conditioner plus heating system just from bed or even while I am at work or on holiday.
