My uncle Dan was such a good guy, plus I wanted to labor with him when I got older. I loved how Dan helped everyone plus he regularly did his best to make sure they were safe in their homes, last year, I had to stay at his apartment while my parents were on getaway, plus he took me on a repair job with him! All Dan was doing was preparing the people’s furnace for winter, but I was totally fascinated. I couldn’t suppose that such a simple thing as Dan was doing, could keep a family overheated plus safe for an entire winter. Dan explained what he was doing plus told me why he was doing it. Dan laughed when he asked what I had done wrong that I had to stay with Dan plus aunt Janie while mom plus dad went away. Dan thought that a sixteen-year-old guy would stay alone. I laughed plus told him mom didn’t trust me, plus I loved being around him. Dan and I were talking about his HVAC company plus I asked Dan if he would consider taking me on when I got older… When he told me to speak to him when I graduated from high school; I took him at his word, then right after graduating, I reminded Dan about his promise to let me labor at the HVAC dealer. He told me I could get a job there through the Summer plus if I was still interested in being an HVAC service tech, he would labor with dad to get me into the community college plus get my HVAC certification. I was so excited – first graduation and now an offer of a job at the HVAC dealership.
