But what’s happening with the HVAC system in a recent burglary trend is something altogether odd indeed. Now people are talking about HVAC systems being completely ripped apart and taken apart for copper. They are talking about thousands of dollars worth of HVAC systems being completely ruined for handfuls of copper fittings. But those copper fittings are turned into cash at arenas that buy scrap metal. So now, protecting the HVAC system has a whole new meaning to it for Ela. That’s because she is protecting the HVAC system alongside her property with a steel cage that fits over the HVAC cabinet. And then, she can lock that cage down to the concrete pad underneath. This is what it takes now for her to protect the heating and cooling unit. It might be time to start looking for a better city.
