My girlfriend and I like to go to the diner down the street.
The diner has really great food and everything is made fresh. It doesn’t matter if you go to the diner at 8:00 in the morning or 8:00 at night, the menu is still the same and the service is still great. My girlfriend and I went to the diner on Thursday, right before we went to the movies. We were going to see the newest comedy that was part of a series. I suggested going to the diner first so we didn’t have to pay for expensive movie theater food. My girlfriend and I sat down at a table near the back of the restaurant. It was very busy, especially for a Thursday evening. My girlfriend ordered the Blue Plate special and I ordered meatloaf and au gratin potatoes. The indoor temperatures were warmer than they are usually. I asked our server if there were issues with the air conditioning system. I thought that I might be able to help, because I work for an HVAC repair business in the community. The manager for the diner thanked me for offering to help, but she told me that they had already contacted someone to address the air conditioning problems. The lady called a commercial AC repair service nearby. Unfortunately, the air conditioner repair business was not going to be there until the next morning. They had a couple of extra fans running in the diner but that’s all they could do to help the indoor temperatures until the next day.
