A tree fell on my home and air conditioner.

He gave us enough currency to stay in a hotel for a week until he could find us an apartment while the home was being rebuilt

Last week, lightning hit the big pine tree in our backyard, and it landed on top of the house! It was early night and my friend and I weren’t in bed! The tree broke the wall of the dining room, and had my friend and I been in there, my friend and I would have been harmd, or worse. It was raining hard, coming through the broken roof, and pouring into the house. I called the homeowner’s insurance business, who sent an insurance adjuster out within an hour. They assessed the situation and had someone there soon after to put tarps over the roof. There was nothing anyone could do until the rain stopped, but he asked if my friend and I knew the air conditioner component was also broken. There were tree limbs impaling the A/C unit, and he was sure it was going to need replacing, then once he assessed the harm, he told me it was entirely going to be a total loss, but with all the water harm, and possible harm to the foundation, it could take multiple months to rebuild. He gave us enough currency to stay in a hotel for a week until he could find us an apartment while the home was being rebuilt. It was just our luck to get a hotel room that had a wet floor from a leaking Heating and Air Conditioning unit, and there was no air conditioner. I was blissful when the insurance agent called the next afternoon and told us my friend and I had an apartment, however my associate and I could get our personal belongings out of the home while he secured the apartment. He assured us it had perfect Heating and Air Conditioning and all the necessities.
