I knew growing up that I could never labor an office task, on TV & all around us, it is portrayed as something you are going to do eventually, however not me.
I was the creative type, & I could just feel the creativity drain right out of me in that kind of environment… Although my parents discouraged me, I still pursued my dream.
I started with making jewelry on my own, & then selling it online. Surprisingly, my small time supplier did legitimately well, & I expanded my knowledge to include other things. While I am still working on becoming successful, I am already doing a lot better than a lot of my friends & family thought I would. My boyfriend is the same way. He told me he also knew he would never labor an office task. He is the kind of person that has to get up & move. An office task where you are supposed to sit for hours on end would drive him crazy. He followed his dream & became a heating & air conditioner component worker. His passion is the Heating & Air Conditioning industry & learning about all of the new Heating & Air Conditioning component & heating & cooling technology there is. After he graduated as a certified Heating & Air Conditioning corporation, he was suddenly hired by the local heating & air conditioning system dealer; Ever since then, he has been working his dream task & he loves it. He actively encourages me to follow my own dreams, since my pal and I can both relate on not wanting to labor an office, 9 to 5 task.
