When I was young, my parents had high expectations from me.
They told me from a young age they wanted me to become a healthcare expert, no ifs, ands or buts.
My dad always dreamed of being a healthcare expert, however since he never could afford to go to university, he wanted to pass that dream down to me. Well, I had dreams of my own, plus they did not include being a healthcare expert… For a while, it was my older sister who was expected to become a healthcare expert, even though she became a veterinarian instead, plus my dad was okay with that! So the dream was passed to me. For a while I rebelled, however they would punish me harshly every time I tried. In high university the pressure only increased. I was at an all time low, plus if it wasn’t for my friend’s parent’s encouragement, I might have given in. I met my neighbor in high university, plus stayed at his venue for a bit. I was amazed when his parents encouraged him to do what he dreamed of, plus not what they wanted. When I told them I wanted to live the simple life of a Heating and A/C serviceman plus not the overly complicated life of a healthcare expert, they fully supported me, much to my shock. I ended up relying on their support, plus followed my dream of becoming a heating plus cooling professional, despite my parent’s protests… Nowadays, I am so gleeful I did, I love my job as a Heating and A/C worker plus repairing cooling units, plus I couldn’t imagine being anything else.
